We Have Soul! Bowls!

If you haven’t had a chance to try either of our new Soul Bowls come and give them a try. You will be so happy you did. There is nothing like it in Birmingham.

The Latin Soul Bowl has Fried Jack Cheese Grits with our Orange marinated Chicken,

Pico de Gallo, Tomatillo Sauce and a little Jack to finish.

The Southern Soul Bowl has our great Kick’n Collards with Thyme-Roasted

Sweet Potatoes, Pulled Pork and a tangy/sweet Tomato Chutney Sauce.

We live and die in our business by the weather and want to keep you from freezing your hands off or soaking your shoes standing in the rain. The Spooner Truck is Back!

Just as a line of box cars will not move without a locomotive, the Spoonfed Truck will not operate without a generator. We are pleased to announce a new addition to our family. He’s a healthy young boy with great strength. His given name is Generac. You will be glad to know that he will be up and running today for his debut. Too bad there is rain in the future. In case you have not noticed the temperature in the good ole south has gone up significantly in the last 3 weeks. In an effort to alleviate the sweat factor give us a call early and we will have your food waiting on you. All we need to know is what you want and what time you plan on picking it up. As long as you hit that 5-7 minute window of fresh opportunity you can be sure that your food will be piping hot and scrumptious.

Back On Track This Week

We know, we know, Trust us. The truck has been down and out and all over the place lately, but this week we will be back on track for our folks in the Downtown area of Birmingham. We have a new week ahead of us and can’t wait to see your smiling faces.

While we have been trying to bring you all of your favorites week in and week out. You will notice a few items missing this week. We will be making an effort to slightly pair down the menu and keep introducing new food items. With this said, there may be times that you visit the truck and find that while the Fish Taco or Burrito may be missing, in its place will be something as good, better or just plain different. We promise to keep the standards of excellence high and taste buds of your tongue dancing in delight.

The Taco Jockeys had to take the day off yesterday to recover from cooking our saddles off Sunday at the Jazz Festival. We will be hitting the 5thave. spot today around 11:30. See you then.

Spoonfed’s Spooner Needs a Little Tweeking

The Spoonfed Spooner truck will be down for the next couple of days. Memorial Day has us off the street Monday, and Tuesday will be consumed with tweeking some generator problems. All goes well, we will be back at it again Wednesday.
